THE AUXILIARY DIVISION ROYAL IRISH CONSTABULARY

This is the senior command team of 'E' Company in Westport May / June 1921. The officer in middle of front row is Stuart Forbes Sharpe OBE, MC, Croix de Guerre. He joined the British Palestine Gendarmerie on 7/3/1922 and died of natural causes on 2/1/1927. He attained the rank of Deputy Superintendent in the BPG.
